Coach Carl Jackson is a native of Mobile, Alabama. He attended Lillie B. Williamson High School. He was a four year letterman in football there. His career continued at Jackson State University. Following his college years, he volunteered his time at the Optimist Boys & Girls Club in the R.V. Taylor projects. This is where he began coaching .
After seeing success at that level, he moved to the high school level in 2004. he accepted a position at his Alma Mater, Lillie B Williamson. While at Williamson, the teams saw a lot of success Their most successful season they lost to the eventual State Champions in the Semi-Finals. In 2012, he joined the coaching staff at McGill-Toolen Catholic. During that time, they accumulated a record of 93-19. During that time, they appeared in 4 Semi Finals, 3 State Championship Game Appearances and won a State Championship. He has now accepted a new challenge, being named the Defensive Coordinator at Alma Bryant High School.
At all of these High Schools he has also held the title of College Recruiting Coordinator. While gaining relationships all over college football, he earned a reputation in helping players get to the next level. Coach Jackson has assisted in the college recruitment of over a hundred players. He doesn't limit his efforts to the school he is coaching at. Coach Jackson has assisted in helping many players at other schools find opportunities at the college level. Having that mindset, he birth the idea of 251 Family.
251 Family is a tool to assist in the efforts to continue to make the Mobile and Baldwin County area a hotbed for College Recruiting.
